Edge to Edge Shaker Card with Stamped Die Cuts Inside + Blog Hop!

One of my favorite types of cards to create is a shaker card! Today’s project features some wonderful new products from the Simon Says Stamp Joy for You release, including the beautiful Deck the Halls stamp set and coordinating dies.

The ornaments were stamped using an assortment of Simon Says Stamp inks and then die cut before being arranged inside the edge-to-edge shaker pocket I created. I filled the shaker with Gold Shaker Balls, which add such a fun element of sound and movement whenever the card is shaken!

I decorated the card with several other new products from the Joy for You collection, including the Fresh Pine Sprigs dies. These beautiful sprigs create a lovely garland across the top of the card! For the background, I blended soft shades of ink over the new Flourish Flurry embossing folder, adding beautiful texture and a subtle backdrop for the ornaments.

Since the die-cut ornaments are tucked inside the shaker pocket, the gold shaker balls move around and over the baubles, creating a magical, almost enchanted effect!

I hope this project inspires you to try incorporating stamped and die-cut images into your next shaker card. It’s such a fun way to add movement, dimension, and a little extra magic to your card making!
