Stamped Roses with New Ink Cubes + Blog Hop
I am sharing a layered stamping card in this video, which showcases the new Heirloom Roses stamp and die set from Simon Says Stamp’s Always There release. If layered stamping is intimidating to you, I believe you’ll find this set quite easy to assemble. I’ll also share my favorite trick for making multiple pieces quickly with these layering stamps.
I also used the new Dewpierce Butterfly and Dewpierce Tiny Butterflies dies—these sweet little winged beauties were the perfect complement to the roses. I picked a dark Eggplant purple to pair nicely with the pink inks I used for my stamping.

I saw your card the other night when I was first checking out this new release, I didn’t see your name on/with the card but I was sure you made the card due to seeing the little vintage dishes in the background. I was so hoping I was right & this was your card which would likely mean there would be an accompanying video. SCORE !! It was your card & there was a video, a very useful one at that. This is a gorgeous stamp set but I was a bit hesitant to jump on adding it to my cart since many times layering stamps can be tricky to line up. Your video & technique was wonderful to explain & show how you went about lining up the layers. Your completed card looks like it could be a pattern taken from one of your little vintage dishes. Accolades to your mom for designing this beautiful stamp set, you are an apple that didn’t fall far from the tree, you and she share great design talents. Love this new stamp/die set and the new Butterflies as well, can one ever have enough Butterfly dies? I think not, the same with beautiful flowers.
