Hello everyone! I am so happy you are here, as I am guesting for the Altenew March release blog hop and I have quite a few cards to share with you!

[/fusion_text][fusion_imageframe image_id=”15028″ style_type=”none” stylecolor=”” hover_type=”none” bordersize=”” bordercolor=”” borderradius=”” align=”center” lightbox=”yes” gallery_id=”” lightbox_image=”” alt=”4 Ways to Use Altenew’s March Release” link=”” linktarget=”_self” hide_on_mobile=”small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_direction=”left” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_offset=””]https://ninamariedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Blog-Hop-.jpg[/fusion_imageframe][fusion_separator style_type=”none” hide_on_mobile=”small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility” class=”” id=”” sep_color=”” top_margin=”10px” bottom_margin=”10px” border_size=”” icon=”” icon_circle=”” icon_circle_color=”” width=”” alignment=”center” /][fusion_text]

In the video above, you’ll get a chance to see how I created this card using the beautiful Wildflower Garden stamp set.

I did a lot of stamping and layering to create a bit of depth to the frame of florals. And see that textured background? I made that with the gorgeous and also new, Dotted Scales cover plate die. Don’t you love the detail it adds to your paper?

I made another version of this card using the same products and the same ink colors for the most part, but I changed the layout a bit and used a different sentiment.

Altenew is well known for all their stunning stamp sets, particularly their layering sets. This next card I made uses the new Hope layering set along with a few oldie-but-goodie sets of theirs; Floral Shadow and Beautiful Day. I used those sets to make additional layers behind the floral arrangement.

My sentiment was stamped using the Story of Us set and I put a few sparkling Buttercream gems from Pretty Pink Posh here and there too. And of course I added that same Dotted Scallops cover plate die in the background.

What do you think of the Cross Stitch Flower stamp set? It’s really detailed; check out the awesome cross stitch effect you can get from just some simple stamping! I think the butterflies are adorable too!

I layered my floral arrangement on top of the Watercolor Stripes cover plate die (also from Altenew), which is cut from some Distress Woodgrain cardstock. I love the texture! The die cut sentiment is from the Script Words set and I placed a few little jewels from Lucy’s Cards around the arrangement too.

My last card I’m featuring today is a watercolored – if you can believe it! I used the Mega Succulent stamp set and Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers to create the base watercoloring; afterwards I added fine details with colored pencils. The most interesting part of this design is that this is actually three layers.

[/fusion_text][fusion_separator style_type=”none” hide_on_mobile=”small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility” class=”” id=”” sep_color=”” top_margin=”10px” bottom_margin=”10px” border_size=”” icon=”” icon_circle=”” icon_circle_color=”” width=”” alignment=”center” /][fusion_imageframe image_id=”15017″ style_type=”none” stylecolor=”” hover_type=”none” bordersize=”” bordercolor=”” borderradius=”” align=”center” lightbox=”yes” gallery_id=”” lightbox_image=”https://ninamariedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/4-Ways-to-Use-the-Altenew-March-Release-7.jpg” alt=”4 Ways to Use Altenew’s March Release” link=”” linktarget=”_self” hide_on_mobile=”small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_direction=”left” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_offset=””]https://ninamariedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/4-Ways-to-Use-the-Altenew-March-Release-7.jpg[/fusion_imageframe][fusion_separator style_type=”none” hide_on_mobile=”small-visibility,medium-visibility,large-visibility” class=”” id=”” sep_color=”” top_margin=”10px” bottom_margin=”10px” border_size=”” icon=”” icon_circle=”” icon_circle_color=”” width=”” alignment=”center” /][fusion_text]

I had stamped the image three times and colored each one in sections; then I fussy cut two of those sections out. After cutting them out, I adhered the two sections onto the last panel with foam tape. I LOVE the dimension! There are some clear confetti sequins adhered to the card and I added Nuvo Drops onto each one; it’s one of my favorite techniques. And that pretty sentiment is also from the Mega Succulent set. The script is so beautiful!

Oh my gosh, everyone made more then one card. You guys were really busy!
I am loving everything that you did. Your first card is so colorful and you used my favorite color in the whole wide world, yellow in it. Of course you used that way cool background and you used a die cutter for all of your card. I don’t have a die cutter so I can’t do your background, darn it, but I have flower punches so I could do the flowers.
The You Make My Heart Happy flower card is so colorful and pretty. I love, love, love flowers. It has a little yellow in it and that’s a good thing.
I love the cross stitch stamp and when I win I want that among other things. I had to learn cross stitch and embroidery for a grade and my mom taught me. I got an A and have been hooked ever since. I love this stamp because it looks like you really did embroidery even though you didn’t use a needle and embroidery thread.
That pink flower is so bright and in your face and I love it! My niece loves the color pink so she would totally love this card.
You did an amazing job and I thank you for showing us all your cards. I also thank you for giving us the chance to win something.
