Neat & Tangled Reveal Day #2
I love the adorable images in this stamp set; it truly is a collections of a cat’s most prized possessions! I used my Copic markers to color this little cutie in, and I’ll share the colors further down in the post.
I stamped and masked the cat with almost all of the other images in the set, to create a one layer scene. There are coordinating dies for these stamps so you could ahead and die cut the images and layer them up instead of masking. However, I felt like doing something different; do you ever feel that urge to just do something totally different??
After everything was masked and stamped, I started my Copic coloring. I have all the colors broken down for you below for easy reference, as well as linked to Simon Says Stamp down in the products section of this post.
- cat: E30, E51, E53, E35, E47
- mouse: W00, W1, W3, W5, RV00, R21
- milk: BG0000, BG01
- fish: G000, G00, G02
- bird: BG0000, BG01, R21, Y21
- yarn: G000, G00, G02
- heart: Rv00, R21
- ground: W00, W1, W3
Once the coloring was finished, I mounted the card panel onto a fog card base that I ink blended some Fossil dye ink onto; the design that I ink blended on is from one of the new stencils that are part of the July Neat & Tangled release. I love how this one paired so well with the images I used…. it is definitely “practically purr-fect” (sorry, couldn’t resist!)!
Do you want a chance to win the some of the new goodies from this month’s release???
