2 Ways to Create with Simon’s Limited Edition Mother’s Day Kit
Hello friends! I am popping by with two fun cards featuring Simon Says Stamp’s new, limited edition Mother’s Day Kit!
I am really excited about this kit; it not only features an awesome assortment of mom-themed products, but I also designed the For All Moms stamp set and the Mother’s Day Sentiment Strips sheet (both included in the kit)!
Note that the limited edition Mother’s Day Kit is only available while supplies last. However, should the kit sell out before you get one, you can purchase most of the kit contents individually. The kit contents are listed below at the bottom of this post.
The first card I made with the kit started off with the flowers in the For All Moms stamp set; they are stamped with black ink and colored with Copic markers. Onto a Memory Box heart die cut, I layered the florals and leaves with foam tape, along with two greetings; one from the For All Moms stamp set, the other from the Mother’s Day sentiment strips sheet.
I layered the heart and florals onto one of the Echo Park I Am Mom patterned papers (aren’t those stripes pretty?); there is also a piece of the American Crafts Black and White Dots ribbon tied around the card. For the final bit of embellishing, I used the new Classy sequin mix included in the kit to add a bit of sparkle!
The second card I created uses Simon’s new Bouquet of Roses stencil with the Tonic Studios Pink Opal Glimmer Paste that is included in the kit; to coordinate with the pink roses, I added Peridot Green Glimmer Paste onto the leaves.
I white heat embossed greetings from the For All Moms stamp set, and added some of those gorgeous, Classy sequins here and there around the roses.
I mounted this panel on a card base that I had adhered a strip of the I Am Mom patterned paper onto. This simple card packs a lot of punch with the glitter and shimmer!
