Layered Floral Arrangements with Copics + Simon’s Celebrate Women Blog Hop
Hello crafters, I am honored to be sharing some inspiration with you using some new stamp sets from Simon Says Stamp; Incredible Woman and Good Job Mama. Both of these sets are great for not just Mother’s Day cards, but also for creating encouragement cards for the women in our lives!

One of the reasons I was super excited about the release of this Incredible Woman set is that I designed it! My idea with the set was to feature names for influential women in our lives, paired with words that described them. I also illustrated some florals to accent the sentiments, which I wanted to be sure to demonstrate in one of the cards I made today!
So this first card features the “mama” sentiment, embossed in gold, surrounded by flowers that I colored with Copics. You can watch the full creation of this card in the video above.
I embellished the card with Simon’s Flickering Butterflies dies, cut from Polished Gold mirror cardstock from Tonic Studios. There are also dots of Nuvo Dream and Vintage Drops across the card as well, in the colors Cloud 9, Love Potion, Pioneer Green and Bonnie Blue. Everything sits on a card base made with Cotton Candy cardstock.
I have been dying to use the Delicate Flowers stamp set that Simon released in their May 2019 Card Kit, so I decided to create a bonus card! This time I used the “mother” sentiment from the Incredible Woman stamp set, which is stamped in Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink.
Around the sentiment are images from the Delicate Flowers set, stamped and colored with Copic markers. I also enhanced the coloring by adding colored pencil details.
The Good Job Mama stamp set features some awesome greetings for encouraging mothers, especially when things are not perfect! I used one of those greetings with the main sentiment; these pair so well together!
Finally, I embellished the card with some more Nuvo Dream and Vintage Drops; aren’t they gorgeous??? I am enamored with those Dream Drops… the iridescent sheen has a pretty, ethereal look!

Oh so pretty the incredible woman stamp in the gold is so classy; the layers are beautiful ! The 2nd card is pretty as well! Any Mother or woman receiving these would feel appreciated and loved !
