Glitter Oxide Blending + Heffy Doodle Friends Hop!
Hello everyone, I am so excited to be participating in the Heffy Doodle Friends Blog Hop! Today I am featuring some of Heffy Doodle’s newest stamps, stencils and dies and creating a glittery superhero card!
My idea was to use the stencil with Distress Oxide inks, blending them in a rainbow of colors. After inking the stencil (and before removing it from the paper), I applied a layer of Transparent Gloss paste (mixed with Unicorn Dust glitter) over the blended background, creating a DIY glitter paste. Once dry, I ended up with a rainbow of glittery goodness to use as a background for my superheroes.
The sentiments are a combination of greetings from the Superdudes and Bots of Love stamp sets, and the Super word die. I finished off the card with confetti stars, which may be subtle, but really set off the glittery effects of the background.
I hope today’s card has inspired you to create with these new Heffy Doodle products, and that you will hop along for MORE inspiration! Keep on reading for all the blog hop details.
Thanks for visiting me today; I will be back again very soon with more crafty projects to share!
