When An Idea Goes Wrong (and How I Fixed It) + Simon’s STAMPtember 2019 Release!
Hello crafty friends! I am thrilled to be bringing you inspiration featuring new products from Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember® release!
Today’s video is a bit different than usual, as I am sharing how an idea I had in mind didn’t work out as planned and what I did to fix it. I hope it will inspire you to not give up on with a card you might be working on when things aren’t going as planned!
I used the new Sunflower Stem die that I designed for Simon Says Stamp, as well as the Birthday Word Mix stamp set. There are a sprinkling of the new Autumn Leaves sequins inside the shaker, which paired perfectly with the Fresh Cut mix Simon previously released.
Want to know where I made the mistake and how I fixed it? Watch the video above and see it all!
And don’t forget to check out the entire STAMPtember release! I used just a few of the fabulous, new products in this collection; there are so many more to see!

such a gorgeous card! wonderfully done
I love this idea! Your card is so beautiful I always make a mess when attaching layers. What was the adhesive that you sprayed onto your layers of the flower to attach them?
Gorgeous card and fantastic fix!! How did you attach the diecut to the top of the acetate? Thanks.
A very pretty card Nina and you pulled it off with great style. Its always nice when you can use a card panel that you put so much work into (even if your plan changes) and STILL make it work. Beautifully done!
