Easy Watercolor Stamping with Inks! Featuring Simon Says Stamp’s March 2026 Card Kit
I am using the new Simon Says Stamp March 2026 Card Kit in this video—which is filled with lots of watercolor stamping! It’s a technique I have always enjoyed, no matter what medium you use to achieve the results. For these projects I used some of the pretty Pawsitively Saturated Ink cubes that are included in the kit. They are water reactive, so you get that gorgeous watercolor effect with little effort!

Tim Holtz and I actually worked together to design the Watercolor Bouquet stamp set that is the namesake of the March 2026 Card Kit. We had so much fun developing the Festive Watercolor set from STAMPtember® 2025, that we wanted to pattern this one after it—but this one can be used ALL year long since it is a curated collection of classic blossoms. We also teamed up to create the Basic Brushstroke Greetings set (available as an add-on to the kit), and I designed a series of XL EZ Strip sentiment sheets and dies, which feature a handwritten font that pairs perfectly with the style of the kit.
With the kit contents, I made not only a card, but also a tag that can be used like a card! The #8 tag that I used fits in the mini slimline envelope (also included in the kit). You could attach that to a gift or send it in the mail for an unexpected bit of happiness!

The intention of the March 2026 Card Kit is to help you express yourself creatively—to give yourself the permission to play with ink and stamps in a fun way that doesn’t apply any pressure to yourself.
