Masking Stamps for Ink Blending + Emboss Resist

The darling Paper Artsy STAMPtember® collaboration set with Simon Says Stamp is SO charming! I was excited to get to work with it for this Christmas card. The set features a fantastic tree with lots of character, along with many other stamps that can be used to accent it. I’m using the set to make this 5×7 card that utilizes masking to help me create an ink blended background behind the tree!

I used Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Inks for the blending and colored my tree with Copics. The tree is decorated using Simon’s Dazzling Gems, which are perfect for creating “ornaments”. The touches of gold throughout the card add some shine (always necessary for a holiday card, right!?). There is even some sparkle on the tips of the tree branches.
