Repeating Stamped Images + Blog Hop
I have a love for vintage blue porcelains; I actually have a little collection of them. Their intricate patterns and varying shades of blue speak to me somehow and provide such beauty! Simon Says Stamp’s new Vintage Mosaics is a stamp set I designed for the Out of This World release and I couldn’t wait to make something with it—inspired by my “blue collection”.
I used the Vintage Mosaics stamp and cut the images out with Simon’s Five Squares die set (such a handy die for square images like this!).
Behind my mosaics is a background made with the new Dahlia Delights embossing folder; I embossed it on Soft Navy cardstock; this makes the mosaics pop off the darker color and the texture adds a lot of interest.
For a sentiment I used the Elegantly Modern Greetings hot foil plate and die set (another set I designed for Simon!); I also added a sentiment strip underneath it with CZ Design’s Reverse Gratitude set.

I love the clean and elegant looks that can be achieved by using the stamps and then die cutting with the squares. I agree. Changing the colors up and the patterns will make many different cards.
