There are some gorgeous new dies in Simon Says Stamp’s Out of This World release, including the Layered Dandy Flower, Windswept Leaves, and Layered Perky Flower die sets—which I will be using on the cards I am sharing today! Both cards will be using inks and blending brushes to color the pieces, and I will show you the technique that I used to get a realistic look to the coloring!
For this thank you card, I used the new Layered Perky Flower die set, which paired perfectly with the Elegantly Modern Greetings hot foil plates and dies that I used to make a sentiment (foiled in silver). For a pop of extra color, I used some half pearls that I picked out of the Wonderful Shaker Mix collection from Lucy’s Cards.
