3 Ways to Use Simon’s June 2022 Card Kit

The Simon Says Stamp June 2022 Card Kit is bright and full of happy colors! I was particularly inspired by the watercolor theme of the patterned papers included in the kit to do a bit of Karin marker coloring with the stamp set, Happiest Wishes. I ended up making a total of three cards with the kit; hopefully you enjoy the inspiration and get some ideas for how you can use this pretty kit!

One of the patterned papers in the kit is a scene of a tree and swing; I used the Sunburst stencil to ink blend some Sunbeam Pawsitively Saturated Ink, then a layer of the Starshine Stickles over top. A sentiment from the Happiest Wishes stamp set and some clear sequins completed this simple but striking card!

I really adore the animals in the Happiest Wishes stamp set, so I used the dog on this card, colored with Karin marker. The balloon patterned paper is from the kit, and I embellished everything with a sentiment from the stamp set, as well as clear sequins. See that little bit of sparkle on the balloon that the dog is hanging from? I used some Stickles Glitter Glue to add that shimmer!

Similar to the dog card, I made a cat version (because if you know me, I am a cat mom and I can’t possibly not make one!). I used Karin marker again to watercolor, then paired the image with some of the patterned paper in the kit. A sentiment and some colorful sequins finished things off!
