DIY Inked Background + Jam-Packed Shaker

Edge to edge shaker cards are one of my most favorite cards to make; there is just something about those sequins appearing as if they are magically floating across the card! In this video I will be sharing this colorful card that features a DIY inked background and a super-stuffed shaker!

The background was made with Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated Ink colors; Blush, Peachy, Sunbeam, Sprout, Surf, Cadette, and Sweets. The background is inside my edge to edge shaker, which is filled with a TON of Simon sequins.

The Birthday Candles die looks so cute on top of this shaker; I even made the candles appear as if they were “glowing” by adding gold glitter cardstock on the flames. A simple birthday greeting from the Reverse Birthday sentiment strip set was perfect for finishing off this bold card!
