Hot Foiling and Copic Coloring + Simon’s Happy and Joyful Blog Hop!
One of my favorite techniques for hot foil is coloring a foiled design. In this video I am using Simon Says Stamp’s Intricate Rose and Blooms hot foil plate from the new Happy and Joyful collection; then I will color it with Copic markers!
To foil this flower spray, I used Brass gold hot foil and Simon’s White Glossy Cardstock; this glossy cardstock is perfect for hot foiling, as it provides super crisp results!
Behind the flowers is a background that I stamped with the new Soft Plaid Background cling; I used Ocean and Surf inks to create that subtle plaid design.
There are little embellishments on and around the flowers using clear sequins and some Bright Fairy Jewels from Memory Box. Using the Lisianthus stamp set, I gold heat embossed a birthday greeting onto White Glossy Cardstock for a gorgeous finish.
