5 Things You Can Make with Simon’s Beautiful Humans Kit!

The new Beautiful Humans, Limited Edition Kit from Simon Says Stamp has been revealed and I couldn’t be more excited! Not only did I illustrate the stamp set and stencil that are in the kit, but I also helped brainstorm many of the kit contents! I hope you have as much fun creating with this kit as I have.

One of my 5 projects that I created with the kit was this slimline card. I used alcohol inks from the Countryside set in the kit. Using Lift Ink and the Fading Florals stencil, I created a ghosted floral pattern on the background. Marbling effects are added on top with the gold foil that’s in the kit.

On the burlap clutch that is included in the kit, I blended the Countryside Alcohol Inks and added a layer of Glitz Glitter Gel through the Fading Florals stencil. For a special embellishment, I colored one of the Tim Holtz Heart Adornments with an Alcohol Pearl ink.

For this one-layer card, I stamped one of the floral image from the Beautiful Mothers stamp set and colored the flowers with Copics. I used the following colors:

• Pinks: RV10, RV13, RV17, RV19
• Blue violets: B63, B69
• Yellows: Y21, Y35, Y38
• Greens: G12, G14, G17, G19, G24, G28

I also blended some of the Speckled Egg and Rustic Wilderness Distress Ink cube colors onto the background for a bit of shading.

Going a bit more geometric, I cut some of the Bloom and Wild pattern papers to make a unique background on my “mom” card. I paired those florals with a bit of glitter paper. To coordinate with the card, I made a cute gift card holder with one of the kraft bags that are in the kit. Around the holder are a sticker sentiment and a Tim Holtz Heart Adornments that I colored with alcohol inks.
