No Line Watercoloring & Dry Embossing [Featuring New PinkFresh Studios]
No line watercoloring is such a fun technique to give the look of a hand painted masterpiece without actually needing to know how to draw!

I enjoyed using the new Take Pride stamp set from PinkFresh Studios in this card for my no line watercoloring. The image was stamped onto Strathmore watercolor paper with Antique Linen Distress Ink. Because the Distress Ink is water based, it blends out perfectly when the watercolor is applied over top. For my watercolors I chose Prima Watercolor Confections.
For extra detail, I used Finetec’s gold watercolor palette to create splatters and some framing to the stamped florals. The floral arrangement was then cut out with the coordinating Take Pride die set.
I wanted my florals to be popped off a white card base because this would help them really stand out; they are so pretty and detailed! To give my card base some interest, I dry embossed Simon Says Stamp’s Flora stencil, which added amazing, subtle texture to the design.
In the center of the circle, I stamped one of the sentiments from the Take Pride stamp set in Deep Sea ink; paired with that greeting, I gold embossed a supporting sentiment onto black cardstock.
