Celebrating Mothers Limited Edition Kit!

Pampering my mom with handmade cards throughout the year is something I love to do! My mom is such an amazing woman, and deserves to know how much I adore and love her – what better way to tell her with a card every once in a while??

That’s why I am so excited that at the release of the Limited Edition Celebrating Mothers Kit from Simon Says Stamp! I’ve already made two cards with the contents in this awesome kit and I hardly made a dent in the product that is in this box!

The first card I created features the Mom’s Meadow stamp set and no line watercoloring. The floral cluster in the set is stamped twice onto Strathmore watercolor paper with Antique Linen Distress Ink.

I used the Altenew watercolor pan set to color in my florals. I really love the color combo I picked out; all the colors were inspired by one of the Cottage Meadow patterned papers in the kit.

The sentiments on my card are also from the Mom’s Meadow stamp set, stamped and embossed in gold and white embossing powders. To finish up the card, I added a few Moonshine confetti sequins, which add a nice bit of sparkle and shine.

This next card has a much bolder appearance, which I think turned out really cool! It was also inspired by one of the patterned papers in the kit.

I stamped and Copic colored the large floral cluster from the Mom’s Meadow set onto the Neenah white cardstock (also included in the kit). Those flowers are then popped up off of a piece of Midnight Green cardstock.

I added a gold sentiment from Simon’s Script Mom die set and a small greeting from the Mom’s Meadow stamp set. I embellished the card with some of the Strawberry Shortcake sequins from Simon Says Stamp and white gel pen dots.

These cards will be making their way to my mom soon! And the best part? I have SO much more supplies leftover from the kit that I can use to make even MORE cards for her!
