Easy Mini Valentines For Anyone
This post first appeared on the Simon Says Stamp blog.
Valentine’s Day is a great time to celebrate the people we love – not just our partners, girlfriend, boyfriend, spouse – but ALL the special, beloved people we have in our lives.
Lawn Fawn has this darling set, Stud Puffin and I thought that these little cuties would look adorable in an interactive, pocket card.
The Diagonal Gift Card Pocket is the perfect sleeve for the mini note that can be tucked inside. You could also place a gift card, money, etc. into the pocket in place of the mini note.
These are so easy to build, watch the video below to see how!
I decorated these sweet little notes with a tag from Lawn Fawn’s Shaker Heart Tag die set; a bit of twine tied to the top gives that whimsical look I was going for with my design.
One of the things I love about these Valentines are the fact that they can be geared towards anyone you love! I especially liked using the Simon Says Stamp Reverse Love sentiment strips on these cards. Because they are pre-printed, you don’t have to take the time to make your greetings; simply cut them apart and adhere to your cards! After cutting, I also run a black marker along the edges of each sentiment strip to hide the white core of the paper.
Would you make Valentines like this for your friends and loved ones? I’d love to hear if you were inspired by this project. Let me know in the comments below!
