I created two cards with this set… this first one uses the girl elf with the cookie dough and the boy eating cookies. They both make me giggle! I watercolored the images and cut them out.  I popped them up off of a panel that I created a light watercolor wash on; that panel is die cut with Studio Katia’s Dotted Patterns Scallop frame set.

For the sentiments, I used a couple of the greetings in the Naughty and Nice Elves stamp set. I also white heat embossed a “Merry Christmas” sentiment from the Happy Christmas stamp set that I had previously designed for Simon. Finally, I used a few Studio Katia Crystal Stars and Lucy’s Cards Ice Crystal sequins to embellish the background and the elves.

The second card I created with the Naughty and Nice Elves stamp set again features the girl and her cookie dough! I loved her so much I wanted to use her again. This time however, I colored her with Copics.

I popped her up off a panel that I ink blended with Festive Berries, Cracked Pistachio and Scattered Straw Distress Inks. On top of that inked background there are some glittery snowflakes. Those are cut with Simon’s Anna and Marissa snowflake dies from Tonic Studios Sugar Crystal glitter card. In between the snowflakes are a few Sparkling Crystals from Studio Katia.

For the greetings, I again used a mix of sentiments from the Naughty and Nice Elves and Happy Christmas stamp sets. I finished off the card with a bit of embellishing; some Aqua Shimmer glitter on the girl’s shoes, dress and belt, plus a dot of Glossy Accents on the jingle bell attached to her hat.

I had a blast not only creating these cards, but also illustrating this new Naughty and Nice Elves stamp set! I hope you are inspired by the cards and if you get the stamp set, I hope that it brings you lots of creative fun!
