So for today’s card I have created a clear card using vellum and transparency sheets using the new Hexastar die set, along with some of the heart dies from the Better Together set. I love the effect of a clear card… they look almost like they are floating!

I started off by die cutting my Hexastar background using white cardstock, and I layered it onto a piece of transparency cut down to 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ (scored at 4 1/4″ to create an A2 sized card base).

Once I had my card base created, I began attaching a rainbow of colored vellum circles onto the center of each hexagon using clear dimensional tape. The vellum circles are from Neat & Tangled’s Bokeh Vellum circle packs. In the center of each vellum circle I glued down vellum hearts that I die cut using a die from the Better Together die set.

Finally, I black heat embossed a sentiment from the Better Together stamp set onto some more vellum and fussy cut it out with fine tip scissors. I then popped it up off the card as well using the clear tape.
