Neat & Tangled Reveal Day #2 – Bible Journaling

Hello! I am back today for day #2 of the Neat & Tangled reveal week! Today’s cards feature the awesome Bible Journaling stamp set, as well as it’s companion set, Bible Journaling Companions.

I love the fabulous word stamps included in the Bible Journaling stamp set; the outline font is clean and simple, making it perfect for pairing with just about any style of card!

My first card is created using both the Bible Journaling set, as well as the companion set. When creating this card, I wanted to create a feel that would match my heat embossed sentiment, “light the world”. What better way to do this than to create a night-sky effect?

I die cut the stars from glitter paper using the Neat & Tangled Seeing Stars die set, as well as twice more from white cardstock. I then layered all my die cuts together and created a cluster on both the top left and bottom right corners of the card, framing up my sentiment.

To finish this card up, I added some silver star confetti, which adds just the right amount of bling to this striking design.

For my next card, I chose to work with Bible Journaling set only; I created a watercolor-style background pattern using many of the words included in the set, stamping them in Delicata Golden Glitz ink. I then flicked on some gold watercolors from the Finetec Gold Mica watercolor set.

The faceted Heart of Gold die is cut from gold glitter paper; I also layered a white heat embossed sentiment on top (also from the Bible Journaling stamp set), scattered some gold and white sequins around, and tied a gold bow around the bottom of the vellum panel, which is overlaying the background I made.
