Saying Hello
Hello Everyone, and Happy Easter!
Today I have a card to share with you, inspired by the current Waffle Flower Crafts Photo Inspiration challenge. I loved the colors of the puffy clouds in the inspiration photo, and used the color palette to create my card, also incorporating the clouds in my design as well using stamps and texture paste.
I started off by adhering some patterned papers to my card base and die cutting the word “hello” using my Silhouette Cameo; the “hello” die cut is from Studio Calico’s “Brighton Pier” cut file. I also die cut the “hello” four more times from some white cardstock and layered them all together, adhering the one die cut from the card base on top.
On a piece of cardstock, I stamped some clouds from the Lawn Fawn “Blue Skies” stamp set and covered them with some Ranger Texture Paste for a more “cloud-like” look. Once the clouds were dry, I fussy cut them out and adhered them onto my card base.
I stamped the sentiment “just saying” from the Hero Arts “Everyday Sayings” stamp set, into an arc, and then adhered the “hello” die back onto the card base, with some white cardstock adhered on the inside of the card to hold it in place.
To finish off my card, I’ve added some white faux stitching and scattered a few pink and white gems around as well.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this little card and that it has inspired you in some way! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a very Happy Easter!
