Today I have two cards to share with you, the first featuring CZ Designs’ newest Simon stamp set, Clean Line Christmas. I stamped the trees with teal, green and coral inks, along with a gold embossed greeting underneath. Around the trees I stamped some snowballs with a kraft ink and added fun sequins and gems on each tree for some fabulous, festive flair!
The second card I made features a more dramatic, clean and simple design. I started by stamping the Leaves and Berries background onto a red card base with embossing ink for that great, tone on tone look. Then, with some Aged Mahogany Distress Ink, I blended a darker color along the bottom third of the card for a bold, ombre look. I love how that makes the tone on tone stamping recede into the background a bit where the ink is most concentrated. Over the background I added a white Lea Snowflake die cut and gold Joyful greeting. Finally, a few confetti and sequin embellishments finished off the card!
I hope these two holiday cards inspire you to create with the new collection from Simon Says Stamp, Cheer and Joy!
Oh Nina both of these designs are so pretty, both are clean & fresh & I love the difference of dark warm seasonal colours versus the bright clean fresh look of the first card. Great inspiration x
