Multicolor Foil + Simon’s Blossoms and Butterflies Hop
Hello friends! I’m sure you have seen the gorgeous, new Blossoms and Butterflies collection from Simon Says Stamp. Today I am featuring the Bouquet of Roses stencil in a multicolor foiling technique!
I’m also participating in a special blog hop that Simon is hosting, celebrating this new release! If you have already been hopping along, you should have arrived from my super-talented friend, Cathy Zielske! The entire hop order and giveaway details are at the bottom of this post.
My idea for this card stemmed from that gorgeous Bouquet of Roses stencil; I really love working with ThermoWeb DecoFoils and Transfer Gel; it just seemed like a perfect fit to pair these products up for a clean, modern design. The foils I used were the Wild Cherry and Spring Green.
Because this foiling has such a modern and dramatic look, I kept the overall design more clean and simple. While this isn’t a style I usually create in, I really love how it turned out! Each card has greetings that are embossed from the new Wake Up & Make Up, Tiny Words Encouragement, and Everything Together stamp sets.
The finishing touch was to add a couple of the new Raindrops sequins here and there, for some subtle sparkle accenting the foil.
I really love how these cards turned out, using the multicolor foiling technique! If you haven’t already, be sure to watch the video at the top of this post to see how I used the technique on these foiled cards. And keep on reading for more details on Simon’s Blossoms and Butterflies hop!
