The first card I created with the beautiful, new stamps and dies from Pinkfresh, includes the Squirrel Friends and Floral Frame stamp and die sets. While the Squirrel Friends is technically a Christmas set, I wanted to stretch it a bit and use it for a non-holiday card.

I loosely watercolored the florals and the squirrels with a mix of Prima Watercolor Confections, Winsor & Newton, and Daniel Smith watercolors. After cutting all the images with the coordinating dies, I arranged them onto a cream card base with sentiments from the Floral Frame and Bloom stamp sets. Finally, I finished up the card with a few pink hearts that are cut from the Simon Says Stamp Sprinkle Heart die; over each heart, I added a layer of Glossy Accents for a bit of extra dimension.

The second card I created with the new Pinkfresh release features the Bloom stamp set, and Geo Leaf die. The flowers in the Bloom set are perfect for framing the many sentiments included in the set, which is how I decided to use it. The florals are colored with Prismacolor colored pencils onto Whirlypop Bazzill cardstock.

After cutting them out with the coordinating dies, I layered the flowers onto a dimensional background that is cut with the Geo Leaf die from two colors of cardstock; Cornflower Blue, and Whirlypop. My sentiments are heat embossed with Antique Gold and Alabaster embossing powders onto Ivory and Mermaid cardstock. Because there is a lot of detail in this card, I left it simple and did not add anything else to the design.
