Foil Mates Inspiration + ThermoWeb & Gina K. Designs
Hello everyone! Today I wanted to pop in and share some inspiration using a few of Therm O Web’s newest foiling products with Gina K. Designs!
There are two new sets of Foil-Mates, including Birthday Bash and Tag Borders. Therm O Web previously released the Decorative Tags and Decorative Labels die sets, which coordinate perfectly with these new Foil-Mates. This allows you to perfectly cut out the pre-printed design sheets and turn them into beautiful cards!
I never seem to have enough birthday cards, so I really wanted to feature one of the Birthday Bash designs in my shaker card. I used the Decorative Label die sets to create a few layers for my rainbow-foiled birthday. That rainbow foil makes me smile! It’s from ThermoWeb’s Rainbow DecoFoil and has such a gorgeous finish!
There is more of that rainbow-foil on the acetate window of my shaker card! You might be wondering how I foiled acetate? This is so easy with the help of ThermoWeb’s Distressed Lines Clear Toner Sheets! These clear toner sheets are perfect for making a variety of clear accents on your cards, including shaker windows. There are lot of Clear Toner Sheet patterns to choose from, but my favorite is the Distressed Lines; they look like painted stripes!
If you are new to foiling, be sure to watch the video above; I’ll show you how to foil all of the pieces in this card; it is really quite easy! You can also see more of my foiling tutorials HERE.
I filled my shaker with star confetti, and used Sugar Crystal glitter cardstock from Tonic Studios as the background; there are also Nuvo Drops and stars accenting the front of the card. Finally, I used a Memory Box Double Stitched rectangle frame die to finish off the entire design.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card and will watch the video at the top of this post to see how it all came together! If you get a chance to try out these new Foil-Mates from ThermoWeb and Gina K. Designs, I know you will have lots of fun foiling these beauties up!
