Hello friends! I wanted to stop by and share a quick tip video on how I clean my stamping blocks!

In the video I share the Simon Says Stamp Ultra Clean with you, but you could also use baking soda, or soap and water. I find that the stamp cleaner gives me the deepest clean and also removes even the glues, permanent inks and more off of the block.

I actually ruined several acrylic blocks after cleaning them with SSS Ultra Clean Dauber. I used to clean my stamps while still attached to the block. After a few hours I noticed that my acrylic block started to crack. The cracks grew bigger and bigger. I didn’t know it was because of the Ultra Clean. My block was 5 years old, so I thought it was because if age or maybe I could accidentally heat the block while embossing. So I took a new acrylic block… and ended with cracks on it too. I have made a picture: http://www.scrapbookingblog.ru/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/rezultat-primeneniya-sss-ultra-clean-dauber-na-akrilovyh-blokah.jpg
I’ve sent a notice to SSS support team about this effect but didn’t receive a reply. However I prefer to avoid using cleaners on acrylic blocks from now on.
