No Line Watercolor Scene + Matching Envelope
Well hello there, thanks so much for stopping by today! The watercolor trend has been extremely popular of late, which is really exciting for me because watercoloring was the first medium I used when I started cardmaking in 2007. Years later I still love it, even though Copics are probably now my go-to medium. : )
Today’s card features the no-line watercolor technique and new stamps from Newton’s Nook Designs! This post is also part of the current Inky Paws challenge (I’ll have more information on the challenge and the end of the post, so keep reading)!
I used distress inks as my watercolor medium today, but feel free to substitute them for your favorite watercolors. If you want to replicate the distress ink color combinations I used in today’s card, I have them listed below and also shown on screen in my video. All products used in today’s post are linked in the product section to Simon Says Stamp (scroll down to the bottom of this post).
- bunny: Gathered Twigs, Brushed Corduroy, Antique Linen, Victorian Velvet
- tulips: Worn Lisptick, Spun Sugar, Wild Honey, Mustard Seed, Wilted Violet, Gathered Twigs
- grass: Shabby Shutters, Crushed Olive, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss
- butterflies: Wilted Violet, Wild Honey, Worn Lipstick, Brushed Corduroy, Gathered Twigs
