“Bleached” Distress Ink Background

Hi Everyone! I am popping in to let you know that I am over on the Create a Smile blog today with a fun distress ink technique to share that I call “bleaching”.

Bleaching is a great way to add cool effects to your watercolor and ink blended backgrounds; plus, its pretty simple and requires just water and baby wipes! To see the card and the video that takes you through the process step by step, head on over to the Create a Smile blog! Here’s a sneak peek:

Today’s a busy day here at my blog! Neat & Tangled and My Sweet Petunia (MISTI) are hosting a fun collaboration all week and today is my turn to share some ideas using products from both companies!

There is a video for that post as well, which features more distress ink inspiration!  Here’s a sneak peek at the card… you can visit the post here.

Clean and Simple Watercolor Stamping_5I’ve also entered the Create a Smile card over at the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge “Have a Heart”. Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Wednesday! :)
