Neat & Tangled Reveal Day #4

Hello there! So glad you are joining us for the final day of the Neat & Tangled reveal week! Today we are showcasing the fun Happy Holidays stamp and die set, as well as an awesome and classy Tag die!

I used both of these new products, as well as the Little Bits die set (the coordinating die set for the Bright Baubles stamps; these are both also new products for the November release).

I die cut a whole bunch of the circles from white cardstock using the Little Bits die set. Using distress inks, I blended on each of my ink colors, focusing on keeping the most intense color along the edges and leaving the middle a bit lighter. Once I had all my circles inked, I adhered them all onto one of my tags.

My sentiment is die cut from both gold glitter cardstock and black cardstock, using the Happy Holidays die set. I layered them all together to create a dimensional element to my almost-one-layer tag design.

For a few finishing touches, I stamped a diagonal stripe background onto a second tag die cut and added some Wink of Stella clear glitter to the colored circles on the first tag.

One last piece I wanted to mention is the color of my satin ribbon. I didn’t have a color of green ribbon in my stash that matched the Pine Needles distress ink that I inked onto a few of the die cut circles. To remedy this, I simply took the Pine Needles ink and brushed some on using my blending tool. A quick blow-dry using my heat gun set the ink into the fibers of the ribbon, and I was left with a perfectly matching ribbon to tie off my tag!
