Neat & Tangled Reveal Day #2

Hello and welcome to day two of the Neat & Tangled November release week! Today we are showcasing the adorable Little Angel stamp/die set, as well as the fun Happy Ornaments stamp set

For my card today, I am using the Little Angel stamp and die set to create this pretty window card.

I love creating backgrounds for my cards, and when working with this stamp set, I knew I wanted to create a starry night sky for the angel to be standing in front of.  I used Tim Holtz distress inks (Shaded Lilac, Chipped Sapphire, Blueprint Sketch and Seedless Preserves) to create the dreamy sky. I layered it behind a white cardstock panel that had clear transparency covering the circle window in the panel. I glued gold glitter stars onto the transparency to finish the background.

My angel is colored with Copic markers, and to give a bit of extra dimension, I stamped and die cut her wings from some vellum. This helps make her wings look more dimensional and realistic, and I love how cute she turned out!

The sentiment is made from a banner die by My Favorite Things, and I heat embossed a sentiment from the Little Angel stamp set using Princess Gold embossing powder.
