Neat & Tangled Reveal Day #3 – Maple Leaves

Hello and Happy Wednesday! Today is day #3 of the Neat & Tangled reveal week, and I am so happy you’ve stopped by my blog!

Today we are showcasing the gorgeous Maple Leaves stamp set and die. This stamp set is absolutely beautiful, and I love the intricacy of the die… Let’s check out today’s cards, shall we?

 

 

For my first card, I’ve chosen to work with the Maple Leaves stamp set on its own. With some Copic markers I colored the leaves in a few Fall themed colors. Copics used for the leaves: YG25, YG97, and YG95 for the greens; RV69, R56, R02 and E04 for the reds; YR0000, Y21, YR23 and Y28 for the yellows. Copics used for the backgrounds and shadows: E30, E81, W3, W5, and W7.

 

 

I heat embossed the sentiment and the gold tweed background, layered the panels together using craft foam, and added a few sequin and twine embellishments to finish off the card.

I love the striking look this card gives with the gold, black and fall-themed colors! The boldness goes well with the crispness of Autumn, don’t you think?

 

 

For my next card, I chose to feature both the stamp set and the die, and this time I watercolored my scene which gives a completely different look than Copics!
