Paw Print on My Heart

Hello, and Happy Sunday!

My sweet friend, Ellen Haxelmans (who lives in Belgium) and I hooked up on Skype this weekend to chit-chat and we created some cards together, and I thought I would share my creation with you!

I wanted to create a shaped scene for these adorable little critters from the My Favorite Things I Knead You stamp set… I LOVE cats, and these little cuties just melt my heart!

I colored them with Copic markers, using some reddish browns for one and more true browns for the other. My scene is created using die cuts from the Landscape Trio dies by Mama Elephant and Grassy Fields dies by My Favorite Things. I added shading with my Copics, and layered everything onto a die cut circle panel.

The card base is created using the Spellbinders Nested Circles and Pierced Circle dies; I also partial stamped a sentiment from the I Knead You set onto some vellum banner and then on the inside of my card. Some heart stickers and Glossy Accents finished off the entire scene.
