More One Layer Cards!
Continuing with the one layer card theme for today, I have another little project to share with you! One layer cards are so great to have; they are perfect for mailing, not having to worry about anything getting crushed or bent on its way to the recipient. Today’s card is very wintry; lots of silver and white, making for a very elegant feel.
The snowflakes, three from the Recollections “Christmas” collection and three from the Inkadinkado “Snowflakes A-Plenty” set, are stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed with silver tinsel embossing powder. The sentiment from Hero Arts “Everyday Sayings” set, was also stamped in Versamark ink, and heat embossed with silver detail embossing powder.
The background was created with the Heidi Swapp 6×6 Lattice Stencil stencil, silver and gray pigment inks, a stamp from the Inkadinkado “Dot Flourishes” set and Heidi Swapp Tinsel Spray Ink. I also added some white faux stitching around the entire card and a silvery-white ribbon tied around the left side.
Don’t forget to hop on over to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog! Today’s theme is Winter Inspiration.
Hope you enjoyed today’s one layer card inspiration! Happy Creating!
