Copic Colored Scene + Whimsy Stamps Reveal #1
Well hello everyone, I am so excited you have stopped by today for this special blog post! Today I have the pleasure of revealing one of my newest stamp designs (which is also my very first collection with Whimsy Stamps)!
I also have two other posts for today. If you are looking for one of my other posts, see these links: Neat & Tangled Reveal Day #1 post or the Reverse Confetti Sneak Peeks post.
For those of you who have followed me for a long time, you probably know that I design stamps for Simon Says Stamp on a regular basis. Well I have also begun to design stamps and dies for the Whimsy Stamp company as well, and this week I will be revealing a total of four new stamp sets and two die sets! So let’s check out today’s reveal, shall we?
Today’s reveal is of the Sketched Elephants stamp and coordinating die sets. I have a soft spot for critters and this set was heavily inspired by my friend Ellen Haxelman. Ellen is a crafter (she’s showcasing this set over on her blog today too by the way!) and one of my dearest friends; she and I chat all the time, despite being separated by thousands of miles and a large ocean. Ellen has told me many wonderful and fun stories of her experiences with elephants while traveling to various foreign countries with her family… and elephants also happen to be her favorite animal! :)
I used the stamps from this set, along with the large heart die, to create a little scene for this cutie. The largest heart die included in the set is sized large enough to be able to be used as a shaped card base too, making this a fun die set that can be really versatile in its uses.
To see how I created this card, be sure to check out the video below or over on my YouTube channel!
