Newton’s Nook Reveal Day #1

Hello everyone! Welcome to day #1 of the Newton’s Nook February release week, where we are showcasing the adorable Made From Scratch stamp and die sets!

The Made From Scratch set is perfect for not only making cute baking-themed cards, but also little tag and treat projects for your baked goods! Today I’ve created a clean and simple “cluster” using many of the images included in the set for a sweet birthday card.

I used some easy Copic coloring to color in the images, making this an great card idea for both beginners or more advanced artists!

I kept the color selection pretty small, to help keep things coordinating; I also grounded the cluster by creating an illusion of a shelf/counter underneath the images using gray markers. This helps keep the images from appearing as if they are floating.
