Stamped Background Gift Tags with Sunny Studio Stamps

Hello everyone, today I have the pleasure of showcasing stamps and dies from Sunny Studio Stamps, an up-and-coming stamp company, owned by my sweet friend, Mendi Yoshikawa!

If you have not heard of Sunny Studio Stamps, I would encourage you to check them out! They have lots of really cute stamps and dies, including the Bundled Up, Snow Kissed (stamps) and Fishtail Banners (dies) I am using today!

… and a little birdy tells me that there is an adorable release coming up again soon, so be sure to stay tuned for that! :)

So onto today’s project… I love all the little coordinating images included in the Snow Kissed and Bundled Up stamp sets, as they are perfect for using on their own too. Using those images and the Fishtail Banner dies, I’ve created a cute tag set and  I have a video for you to see how I made them!

The colors I have used in today’s tags are a pink, purple, red, blue and teal color combination; the Copics I used to color in my images were: RV10, RV23, RV13, R22, R46, R59, BG0000, B00, B02, BG10, BG34, BG15, BG49, B60, B63, BV13, W00, W1, W3, E77.

For the embossed die cutting, I used the Sizzix Texturz Silicone Rubber mat and Impressions pad. The sandwich is made by putting the platform on tab 2, and then laying down the mats, paper and dies in this order: Impression pad, Silicone Rubber mat, paper, die, regular cutting mat. I then ran that through my Big Shot machine and the result is a beautifully embossed impression.
