Salty Kisses & Starfish Wishes

Happy Sunday everyone! This week Newton’s Nook is sponsoring the Cupcake Inspirations challenge, which is all about LAYERS!

For my card, I’ve chosen to do some no-line Copic coloring using the brand new Tranquil Tides stamp set from Newton’s Nook Designs!

I started off by stamping the seahorse, shell and starfish onto white cardstock using a second generation of coordinating distress inks. Using my Copic markers, I colored and shaded each image.

Once done, I applied a coating of Wink of Stella glitter onto each image, and then re-stamped over each image with Versamark ink; I then heat set some clear embossing powder overtop.

Onto my die cut card panel, I silver heat embossed my sentiment, and layered all my images into a cluster to the left side of the card. Some sequins and enamel dots are sprinkled and add some great interest.

Finally, I layered my panel onto a pale blue cardstock card base, which is also covered in Wink of Stella glitter.  So much sparkle and shine helps make this clean and simple card come to life, and I love how it turned out!
