Glossy Cardstock Die Cuts for the PERFECT Finish! Plus a Blog Hop + Free Gift!
I love the adorable dies from the Simon Says Stamp Sugar and Spice release—Gingerbread House Fun and Iced Cookies. Making cookies for Christmas is a favorite tradition amongst many of us and I feel like these dies really capture the joy and fun of baking. To make these die cuts look even more realistic, I’m using Simon Says Stamp White Glossy Cardstock to die cut all of the icing details—and also the sentiment.
I paired the baked treats with the Fancy Joy and Cheer die that I designed for the Sugar and Spice release. I purposely placed the icing pipette to make it look like it formed the letters. This is why I chose to die cut the sentiment from the White Glossy Cardstock—it pairs nicely with the other icing details.
The card is embellished with a bit of stenciling, some Dazzling Gems, and new Mini Gold Star sequins!

How cute is that card?!? Love it, Nina.
This card is SO, SO SWEET, Gingerbready Sweet that is, adorably sweet. When I was little my grandma used to send me a card for every occasion that Hallmark made a card for. For a long time I followed in her footsteps and was a card shop junkie, I could while away a lot of time looking at cards picking out the “perfect” card to send/give. I like to think my finding cardmaking is my way to honor my grandma. I’ve not bought a card in years, one of the best things about making cards is I can totally personalize the card to the recipient, their likes, favorite colors etc. Nina, I could see my Grandma picking out your card to send me, as a nod to my name. THANKS for the memory of my grandma & childhood, she’s been gone since 1987 and I sure do miss her and her cards. Your cards & projects always rock, thanks for sharing yet another great one.
