3 Ways Holiday Festive Swag Series: New Products I Designed + Simon’s Happy Camper Blog Hop
I am so excited to share a couple of new products I designed for Simon Says Stamp’s Happy Camper release—and 3 ways that you can use them! The Festive Bough Pattern and Festive Swag layering stencil sets are two unique products that I illustrated for the release. In this video, I’ll share how to best build with them, plus ideas for color combinations, and more.
This card uses the Festive Bough Pattern to create the background, which is die cut and matted with the new Modern Teardrops dies that I also designed. The sentiment is from an oldie-but-goodie die set called Fanciful Joy. The ink color used on this card were Juniper, Cabbage, and Cranberry from Simon Says Stamp.
This little tag was built with the new Nested Tag dies from CZ Design and Simon Says Stamp! I added my Festive Swag on top, which is ink blended with Raindrop, Spring, Surf, Seafoam, and Cranberry inks. That shiny bow on top of the swag? I layered that from the Pretty Bows die set that I designed earlier in 2025 (cut with metallic red cardstock). The new CZ Design Simple Stars stencil made for a magical backdrop—those stars were ink blended onto the teal cardstock with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink.
This non-traditional color palette is minty-fresh! I used Lucky, Spring, Seafoam, Princess, and Cranberry inks from Simon Says Stamp—then topped off the bow on this one as well with the Pretty Bows die set. I added fun layers behind the swag with a postage edge die and an A2 Frames die. The Swiss Dots stamped pattern on the card base added a perfect touch of whimsy to the card!
