Cool Technique! Trying Heat Embossing on an Embossed Background

I can’t wait to share my latest video with you—it features a really unique technique of adding heat embossing to the raised areas of an embossing folder background. I’m using new products from Simon Says Stamp’s Festive Fun release, including the GORGEOUS Snow Poppies embossing folder, plus the Old Fashioned Christmas stamp and die set.

The embossed background was colored with a mix of Distress Inks and Oxides, which gave a truly rich feel to the paper. The big bow was a stamp from the Old Fashioned Christmas set and is a beautiful trimming!
