2 Cards, 10 Minutes Each + Simon’s August 2022 Card Kit
I often find myself needing a card at the last minute and it’s always great to have ideas on hand to create something beautiful in a short bit of time. Using the new August 2022 Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp, I made two cards that only took 10 minutes each to create! Talk about quick and easy—plus GORGEOUS!
The first card I made uses some of the Craft Consortium patterned paper (which has some stunning metallic effects!), along with Simon’s Rose Gold Metallic Cardstock. I die cut the rose gold cardstock with the Etched Evening Blossom die, then silver embossed a sentiment from the new Vintage Garden stamp set (part of the kit).
The combination of silver and rose gold was just stunning. I tied more of that silver into the card by adhering silver gems to the center of the flower.
My second card is a monochromatic design that uses the stunning Vintage Garden stamp set. I stamped the flowers in a frame around my card panel using a trio of Simon’s Pawsitively Saturated Inks. The shaded effect adds a lot of depth to the stamping.
In the center of the card I stamped a greeting that features a dip-dye effect. I used the embossing ink and silver embossing powder on top of black ink to create the look. The simplicity of this card makes it shine!
