Repeating Die Cuts for a Fresh Look

Stretching products is one of my favorite ways to get fresh new looks out of something I’ve used before! I love the Detail Floral Ring die from Simon Says Stamp and wanted to create a focal point border with the die; this effect makes it appear as if the ring is repeating across the length of the card. With the fun layout and bright, bold colors this card stands out!
The Detail Floral Ring is ink blended with some of my favorite Simon ink colors: Watermelon, Lemon Zing, Jellybean, Scuba, Blue Jay, and Wisteria. I also ink blended those same colors onto the background using Simon’s Freestyle Flowers stencil.
In the center of my card is a sentiment from Simon’s Greetings Mix 2 stamp set. I added a small red heart, die cut from the Mini Hearts Party die.
For additional embellishment, there are small gems from Pretty Pink Posh. They sparkle in the light, which makes the Detail Floral Ring stand out even more!
Have you tried repeating a die like this across your card? It’s a great way to give your dies a new look – and so easy!
