Glitter Laminated Shaker Card + Simon’s DieCember® Release!
If the video does not display, please click here to watch on my YouTube channel.
Recently, I shared a popular tutorial showcasing a laminating glitter technique and I wanted to bring this back again in a different application! I’m making a shaker card that has a glitter window; I also used Simon Says Stamp’s new Paper Hugs die from the DieCember® release.
The glitter window is laminated with Simon’s Unicorn Confetti and inside the shaker are Strawberry Shortcake sequins and pattern paper form the American Crafts’ Go the Scenic Route pad.
The Holographic cardstock from Simon Says Stamp has been one of my most favorite things to create with this year and I cut the new Paper Hugs die from it – so pretty! A sentiment strip from the Reverse Thinking of You pack layered up perfectly with that die.
I hope you will try out this glitter laminated shaker card technique! It is such a fun way to add some pizzaz to your shaker cards.
If you would like to see the other video I shared featuring this technique but instead used in a trifold card, you can watch it here!

Great technique! I can’t wait to use it. This card is not my usual style but WOW. Glad I have a laminator. Can’t wait to look at other things on your blog — glad I found you!
Beautiful card! I like how you combined the different dies and added the shaker element to this card.
So very pretty! Love this card.
Adorable card–great technique but I don’t have a laminator unfortunately.
You always knock it out of the ballpark! ???? Such a beautiful card! I love it AND I own a laminator.
