I’m always looking for a fun way to package gift cards. In my mind, they have to have a little pizazz! So with the release of Simon Says Stamp’s Limited Edition Gift Card Kit, I am thrilled! I made many festive gift card pockets that feature a simple design that allows the gift card to be beautifully presented. And the best part? It takes no time at all to make these pockets!
The base of the pockets are made with the Echo Park Lumberjack Christmas pattern papers and I created the notches with the Gift Card Slot dies from Simon. Each pocket is decorated with the Lumberjack Christmas stickers that are also included in the kit. I even stamped and colored one of the gnomes from the Gnome Peeking stamp set and colored him and his snowman with Copics.
In the kit are mini envelopes, which I also decorated with Simon’s new Buffalo Plaid stencil; using Distress Inks, I blending a tone on tone pattern onto the envelopes. Each envelope has either a name, a to/from tag or a sentiment of thanks. I plan on using these gift card holders for different people this Christmas.
If you would like to see how I made these gift card pockets, I hope you will watch the video at the top of this post for all the details!
The Limited Edition Gift Card Kit that I used to make these pockets is only available while supplies last. If you would like to grab this kit, be sure to do so sooner rather than later. If you miss out on the kit, many of the items are available for individual purchase.
