Shaped Watercolor Card Featuring Memory Box

One of my favorite types of cards to create is a shaped card. There is something so unique and fun about taking a stamped image and having it literally carry the design, since the shape of the image is the card itself.
Memory Box’s Rose Bouquet stamp set has a stunning, large floral sprig that works perfectly for this technique. Last year I used another Memory Box floral stamp to make a similar card for Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember celebration. You can see that card here.
The Rose Bouquet is watercolored with Prima Watercolor Confections and I added sparkle details with Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust. Simon Says Stamp’s new Happy Days set had a perfect greeting to add to the middle of the florals, and some Moonshine sequins finished everything off.
Have you ever tried making a shaped card? If you have, I’d love to hear about it in the comments below!
