Die Cut Watercolor Background + Simon’s DieCember® 2019 Release

Hello friends! I am so excited to be bringing you inspiration featuring the new DieCember® release from Simon Says Stamp! Today I am using a few of the gorgeous new dies in a couple of non-holiday cards.

I am LOVING the new Detailed Leaf Cluster die (which happens to coordinate perfectly with the previously release Clustered Leaves and Outline Clustered Leaves die sets). This die could be used in so many different ways but for this card I decided to go the watercolor route.

The Detailed Leaf Cluster is die cut twice from watercolor paper that I had colored with a variety of greens. I then arranged the leaf clusters onto a Stitched Rectangle panel, which is splattered with Finetec watercolors.

For sentiments, I used the new The Best is Yet to Come die and cut it from silver foil cardstock and vellum. A supporting greeting is stamped from the Tiny Words stamp set and a few sequins completed everything on this elegant and refreshing card!

The next card I have to share with you is a more simplistic design, but the die that is taking center stage on this beauty is the reason why I left it so clean and simple!

I really love the Large Outline Thanks die set and thought this would look stunning cut from white cardstock and popped up off of a bold, modern floral print. To add a little detail of sparkle, I used the Therm O Web Glitter Dust spray (in silver); I cannot tell you how gorgeous this shimmer is in person! Just a couple of quick sprays and the card SHINES like you cannot believe; its hard to capture it in photos but you can see it best below…

From the Thankful Flowers stamp set, I added a white embossed greeting on black cardstock, which finished off this simple design.
