No Line Watercoloring with Metallic Accents + Studio Katia’s 3rd Birthday
Hello friends! I am excited to be sharing some inspiration with you using products from the new Studio Katia release!
Studio Katia is also celebrating their 3rd birthday, which is VERY exciting! Studio Katia is such a great, kind company; I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Studio Katia’s amazing team on multiple occasions, as well as share a few meals with their owner and namesake, Katia. She is super sweet and has a wonderful heart. I’m so honored to be celebrating with Studio Katia today and I hope you will be inspired by what I’ve created!

I started by stamping the Floral Garden background with Antique Linen Distress Ink onto Arches watercolor paper. Using some of my favorite watercolors, I colored in the florals and added some metallic effects with the new Mineral Eyes Palette by Jane Davenport and Spellbinders.
After I trimmed the watercolor panel down, I edged it with a gold Wink of Stella pen and popped it up off an Ivory card base with foam tape.
For a greeting, I gold and white embossed a couple of sentiment from the new It’s Your Birthday stamp set; the script greeting is embossed onto vellum and the supporting sentiment is stamped on Sugarplum cardstock.
Finally I embellished the card with a few of the new Studio Katia Pastel Rainbow sequins and some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops.

Your coloring is so lovely, as always. And wow, do you know how to do an embellishment. I love all the little details you added from metallic paint to confetti to Nuvo drops. If I had done that, my card would be cluttered beyond belief, but you managed a really awesome card. Thanks for sharing!
