These are so cute and simple, great for giving to just about anybody! And as an added bonus, this is a perfect design for kids to make too. I made these for three of my special friends. They don’t take long to make either; I made them all in less than an hour! And by doing them “assembly line style”, you could make even more without adding a lot of additional time.

The adorable stamps are from the My Favorite Nut stamp set by Neat & Tangled. For die cutting, I used Memory Box’s Circle Notch border and Urban Uppercase dies and Hero Arts’ Postage Stamp dies. These products paired so well together and I really love that these cards can be used year round by simply adjusting the colors used!

For coloring the stamped images, I used Copic markers. If you are interested in the colors I used, I have them listed below here:

Squirrel body: E13, E15, E18, E0000, E50, E51, R21
Acorns: Y28, YR24, YR27, E53, E55, E57
Hearts: RV52, RV55, RV17, R14, R46

The envelopes I wanted to be something that wasn’t too hard for kids to make. I found the easiest and simplest way was to make an A2 sized card from a 4/1/4″ x 11″ piece of pattern paper (or you can use cardstock). After folding the paper in half to make a top folding card, I used the Circle Notch dies and cut the shape into the opposite end of the fold (the “bottom”, open end of the card). Then by adding a bit of double sided tape onto the sides of the card, I was able to seal the paper together and create the cutest little envelope!
